For something I was saving for my birthday, I cant think of a better way to have used it. :)
Finding that fiver is the last nail in the coffin, sold and sold, you was so meant for it.
Satiable and socialable is what you are.
Out of all the people on this planet I could be laughing at, I'm glad it was at (with?) you. ;)

Friday 22nd August 2003
Met up at Rick's as us Londoners do at around 14:30 to make our way up to Psychout in Newark.
The journey was long, but plenty of good music and a pub quiz from Foxylady made it a fun one.
Got to Johny's just after 19:00, met up with a few ppl from mpfreescene, including Frase for the first time.
Short ride in a taxi saw us getting in middle of Yaz's set.
This man is nothing short of AMAZING, flawless mixing and a tune selection that I am sure left more than just my pants wet ;)
The beer's were flowing fast (A little too fast for my liking by the next morning, lol) and the night was good fun.
After getting the second room decks sorted (like duh, how could we not guess it was the cartridge?), Yaz and Graham went for a little back to back jobby with some quality choonage.
The place was really starting to pump when Laura stepped up to the decks, and can I just say that technically she is BRILLIANT!!! Not so into my hard stuff anymore, but I seriously couldn't fault her mixing, AVE A TOOT LUV!!!
JFK's set wasn't really to my liking (he played the pooey Jono Grant mix of Nocturnal Creatures) but his closing track made it all worthwhile. Silenced by Fear, if you havent heard it, find it... and buy it!!! RAWR!!!
Got to meet Horris as well that night which was a bonus (You do look like The Bear mate ;p), and I got my HardCorporation name... 'Urinal' :P
Back up to the 2nd dancefloor for Johny Fav for the last bit of the night. I worked up quite a sweat when he dropped Night Time and that hard mix of Satisfaction and had a right laff bounding around the place.
Most of headed back to Johny's afterwards, for a general lay around and chat session. Was nice to get to talk to some of you guys again.
Best thing had to be Neil's randomness, got an ickle video clip for those of us leet enough (will post a link guys, just not here ;)).
It got later and later, and I got sleepier and sleepier, eventually catching about an hours kip on the floor.
Ppl slowly started heading off, and I was allowed to hang around at Johny's til that evening when I was to head off to Notts to meet up with Vicky. Cheers again for that bud, was greatly appreciated and ur cd will be in the post soon as I have a fully functioning brain again and get paid.
Piccies n clips:

Clip: Silenced by Fear
Saturday 23rd August 2003
Got another 2 hours snooze time during Sat before making my way off to Notts.
One and a half hour wait for a bus and a 45 minute bus ride later saw me in Nottingham town centre.
Some walking and phoning finally saw me meet up with my lovely hostess for the weekend, Vicky.
Met up with TimmyJo and TidyHayley at a bar in the area before heading of to Vix's place to drop my stuff off and get ready for Hotdog that night.
Vicky's mum made us a delicious dinner before we headed out (I swear I've eaten for heathily in the past 3 days than I have in the past 2 months!!) and then we were off.
En route we met up with Vicky's mate Glynn, and you my friend are the mutts nuts!!!
Random as fuck, funny as fuck, talkative as fuck and generally wikkid as fuck, great to meet you man :D
The 3 of us had a drink at a really scary goth bar (I forget it's name but I think it was the RIP Club??) and I learnt all about embroidary and printing stuff (told you Glynn was random :P)
Got to Hotdog 5 minutes before it opened so we arbed outside for a bit and chatted.
Went in and met Psycho Bull at the door (hope you enjoy the cd mate).
We were some of the first in, so that gave us the chance to explore the venue before it became to full to move about before getting our bosh on.
Also met Ashley inside, wikkid chem suit dude and enjoy ur cd too ;)
Only 3 hours sleep saw me a little reserved on the dancefloor, but that all changed once St John and Sarah G took up the decks. Loved the dress John (its visible in one of the clips) and hope you and Sarah like your cd's too. Musicwise, these two made the night for me blasting out choon after choon after choon (Must get Backbeat mix of Hydra Affinity, RAWR!!!) and I need to know the name of that one track that Sarah played near the end, the record just had a sticker on it saying "As played by Tom Harding at Dance Valley" it was a CHOOOOOOOOON!!!!!
Also met up with Shaggy and Katie inside, always fun meeting new ppl :D
I'm not sure of the name of the guy who was up after the Dress2Dress set, but he was technically brilliant, some of the best mixing I've heard in a long time, up until the man Daley stood up to the booth.
Dj of the night for me, harder than what I usually listen to, but some of the most interesting and class mixing in AGES!!! The scratching that he did on his second track totally popped my mind, I wish my batteries hadn't gone flat so I coulda recorded it :( Great set regardless matey!!
Rest of the night was rockin, but my sleep deprived state left me a tired man sitting on the railings by the end of the night. I did managed to jam to the last track of the night tho, as always ;D
Time for us to leave, so Vicky, Glynn, Shaggy, Katie and I all headed back to Vicky's place.
Random random random, and funny as anything, specially me handing over my phone to Glynn to chat to me very drunk mate in London, and us guys trying to convince the girls to.. well... LOL!!
Sleepity sleep sleep....
Sunday 24th August 2003
Only got up at 14:00!!!
Sat around chatting before heading off to see Pirates of the Caribbean with Vix.
Mmmm.. 2 boxes of popcorn.... :)
Movie was wikkid, really did enjoy it, and I know Vicky enjoyed all the eye candy (Depp and Orlando ;P)
Relaxed at her's that night again, watched some more swashbuckling in a series thingy (I wanna watch the rest of the tapes now Pigeon!!! :() and then off for another, much longer than anticipated sleep...
Monday 25th August 2003
Up at 12:00 today!! LOL, cutting it close as my train left at 13:30.
Yummy brekkie cooked by Vix before her mum gave me a lift to the station and I came back to London.
Big shout out to all I met this w/e and helped to make it the most enjoyable one I've had in ages.
Special thanks to Pigeon and her mum for putting me up for 3 days, I really appreciate it, thank you :)

JonJonB> Purely in the interests of science, I have replaced the word "wand" with "wang" in the first Harry Potter Book
JonJonB> Let's see the results...
JonJonB> "Why aren't you supposed to do magic?" asked Harry.
JonJonB> "Oh, well -- I was at Hogwarts meself but I -- er -- got expelled, ter tell yeh the truth. In me third year. They snapped me wang in half an' everything
JonJonB> A magic wang... this was what Harry had been really looking forward to.
JonJonB> "Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Harry Potter." It wasn't a question. "You have your mother's eyes. It seems only yesterday she was in here herself, buying her first wang. Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wang for charm work."
JonJonB> "Your father, on the other hand, favored a mahogany wang. Eleven inches. "
JonJonB> Harry took the wang. He felt a sudden warmth in his fingers. He raised the wang above his head, brought it swishing down through the dusty air and a stream of red and gold sparks shot from the end like a firework, throwing dancing spots of light on to the walls
JonJonB> "Oh, move over," Hermione snarled. She grabbed Harry's wang, tapped the lock, and whispered, 'Alohomora!"
JonJonB> The troll couldn't feel Harry hanging there, but even a troll will notice if you stick a long bit of wood up its nose, and Harry's wang had still been in his hand when he'd jumped - it had gone straight up one of the troll's nostrils.
JonJonB> He bent down and pulled his wang out of the troll's nose. It was covered in what looked like lumpy gray glue.
JonJonB> He ran onto the field as you fell, waved his wang, and you sort of slowed down before you hit the ground. Then he whirled his wang at the dementors. Shot silver stuff at them.
JonJonB> Ok
JonJonB> I have found, definitive proof
JonJonB> that J.K Rowling is a dirty DIRTY woman, making a fool of us all
JonJonB> "Yes," Harry said, gripping his wang very tightly, and moving into the middle of the deserted classroom. He tried to keep his mind on flying, but something else kept intruding.... Any second now, he might hear his mother again... but he shouldn't think that, or he would hear her again, and he didn't want to... or did he?
melusine > O___O
JonJonB> Something silver-white, something enormous, erupted from the end of his wang
JonJonJonB> Then, with a sigh, he raised his wang and prodded the silvery substance with its tip.
JonJonJonB> 'Get - off - me!' Harry gasped. For a few seconds they struggled, Harry pulling at his uncles sausage-like fingers with his left hand, his right maintaining a firm grip on his raised wang.

What an incredible day it has been today, why couldnt it have been like this last week for Global? :(
Anyways, up nice and early (9am) so we could head off to Hyde Park, but Dennis coming home late meant we only left the house at 10:30
We met up with my friends from Scawen Road round 12ish and set up camp by one of the big screens.
The enterants and stuff weren't that great, but Celebrity judge Avid Merrion was class (and Christine Hamilton can fuck off and die, she is SO annoying) and there were plenty of luverly ladies around in the skimpiest of skimpies.
The heat and sun, however, became quickly unbareable, leading me to use more water on my body than down my throat.
Here's some piccies:

And my glorious sunburn:

Here are some clips too:
Shot of crowd [7MB]
Walking by Buckingham Palace [42MB]
And Jussy, you is teh bomb, I will always love you, and I cant wait for you to get over here.
Chin up hun, no matter what you think, you will pull through this, coz I am always right, and you know it.

Right
I am still alive people, tho it has taken me a while recover from the GKGG weekends antics :)
So lets get down to business:
Friday 25th July 2003
Headed of to Rick's place round 2ish, met up with him, Drew and Foxylady before heading off to Heathrow to pick up Loka.
London traffic on a Friday afternoon is not pleasant, and wanting to avoid the congestion charge made it even more of a hassle for poor old Rick. Luckily, me and Drew just sat in the back talking aimlessly about music and stuff *grin*
Got to Heathrow later than we expected, but, after a mission finding the toilets and buying some muffins, we actually arrived at the perfect time to meet up with Loka at Int Arrivals.
Off the lot of us headed to Neil's place for the pre-GKGG BBQ.
We didnt take the quickest route by mistake and ended up getting there quite late, but it was great meeting loads of new people.
After a quick bite to eat and a good few stiff Stella's, mixing and chatting were in full force :D
To those who were there but didnt go to GKGG:
Muzik98, great seeing you again matey, glad you had a good time at Passion, sure you'll get in there again, see you and Mr Favourite end of the month for Psychout & Peach ;)
Johnny Favourite, sharp of tongue as always matey, had me in right stitches both night and morning :)
Helen, nice seeing you again too hun, tho you seemed a bit quite (but with us lot who can blame you? ;p)
Chris, spot on guv, spot on. Your sense of humour is wikkid, cant wait to meet up again.
Elaine, what more can I say than "RAWR!"? You rock chick, twas an absolute pleasure meeting you, see you at Psychout and hope you are loving Dark Suite :) Cute, funny and a dj? Rare breed I tell you, rare breed ;P
Back to the night, Rick got REALLY drunk (had me well confused the first time I saw you fall over fella, bless), Graham fucked up one of my mixes (bastard) and everyone ended up falling asleep (those who thought they were so sly by grabbing the couches first got there's in the morning, stiff necks and everything).
Saturday 26th July 2003
The morning was a recovering period, chatting about this and that, taking the odd piccy and generally waiting for Slam, Silverstorm and others to arrive.
Tren was my personal hero for the night tho, big up ya MILF hitting nutta :D
Time went on and many a pork sausie sammich and tea were served by Neil's wonderful parents.
Wasps were found to be not as fond of Pringles as the add lets on, especially when you chop on in half with a can like I did *mwahaha*
Slam and the gang finally rocked up and we were on our way... sort of.
Musta sat in Rick's car for an hour with the can o spam in my hand before we finally set off, funky music and rainfall all in tow.
Finally got there, and I was surprised by the sheer scale of the event. (keep in mind that the biggest party I had gone to prior to this was a meagre 3000 ppl, around a tenth of the size of GKGG)
Group piccie time led to me accidently whacking Skully a hella shot in the jaw with my head whilst falling backwards over Rich.
Sorry bout that matey :)

In we went, ponchos a flailing (it was wet OK) and strutted in without so much as a copper even check if I had a gun or summat.
Straight to the Gallery tent (it was close and we were wet), and had a wee jam before heading out for some fewd.
Sod the food I thought, and got myself a nice pair of glowies for the nite ;p
A bunch of us decided we were gonnna head of to the main floor (where I spent most of my night) for some more jammage.
Don't know who was playing at that point, but I did here the odd stomper and Carte Blanche did blow the roof off, hehe.
Met up with Geco too, was real nice having another saffa (Capetonian nogal) there to shoot the shit with :)
Decided I was gonna have a walkie around the tent to see if I could find peeps from the other 2 meetups I wanted to go to (UKC and TA).
An hour of walking around yielded only me being flagged down by Boss off UKC (thank you my lovely mpfreescene t-shirt), and even tho I got his number, I couldn't contact him to meet other UKCers for the rest of the nite :(
Half an hour later tho, I manage to get spotted by someone of TA.
w00t, I had arrived. :)
I now had a bunch of ppl to chill with in an area near enough to the main stage :D
The music was rockin, the ladies were delicious and the atmosphere was great... shame the MC was a tw@t ;P
Run down on what I remember:
Misstress Barbra: Hard and banging, while not fully to my tastes, was a decent enough set.
Push (live): Not at all what I was expecting (not a big Push fan), hella lot more pumping than I thought it would be.
Tiesto: NOT AT ALL what I expected, no boring proggy trance, was well energetic :)
Armin van Buuren: Dodgy mixing skills and poor mix structure, but some decent tunes (Ronski Speed mix of Binary Finary!!)
Fergie: TDV is rolling over in his grave, give up mixing dude, you is teh suck!
Marco V: YUMMYYUMMYYUMMYBOSHOHOLICS!!!! Twas a right banging set, loved his remix of Clocks.
Ferry Corsten: Man of the night for me, tho opinions differ. Not the uber-uplifting I was expecting, but some great elctro-funky stylee, love that remix of Rock Your Body Rock :D
I had a great dancey time, and loads of chats with ppl from all over.
Funniest thing was, a really good dancer that caught my eye for most of the night turned out to be a UKCer, tho I only found out 2 days ago, lol!
Mpfreescene Massive: (Sorry I didnt see much of you guys, but I couldnt handle the middle of the dancefloor)

Ricksta, star as always matey, big up for being the first to spot Blanche de la Carte ;) Cheers for the drivage as always, and I'll see you again soon matey :thumbs
Foxylady, *mwah*, star again hun, and more 'ardcore than most of us I'll tell ya ;)
Drew69, great seeing you again too mate, see you Psychout and Peach :D
Geco, twas great to sit and have a proper chat bru, swak that you didnt get to meet that many ppl from the site :)
Slam slam mullet man, tooty toot my friend, talk about aving it large. Your face with Rock Your Body Rock was classic :D
Loka, another ardcore one, good on ya lass, glad you had a good time and it was a pleasure having you over at mine :)
Skully, funny as fook itself matey, was great meeting you, even tho I only understood every 5th word ;)
And to all others I cant do individual comments on (I've got flu and its 2am), rjthorne, wes, silverstorm, neil, tren, daz and others, great to meet you all, I believe we are all on again for the Psychout party no? :D
RAWR!!!!
Tranceaddict Massive: (Sorry I didnt get there early enough for the spam pyramid, but know that I did have a can ;p)
Ste, "You fucking spastic!" ROFL, great to meet ya buddy :)
Harry, nice to meet you hun

dj_mdma (Lam), dstrukt (Chris), Misty Kitty (Kate), Magnasoma (Tim) and swisstoni (Toni), was AWESOME meeting all you londoners, will see you all on the 15th again, best bring that big grin of yours Kate ;)

Gibbo, christ matey, I believe that was the single longest chat I've ever had with a stranger before, lol, turntables, choons, etc :)
AnAardvark, top lad (sorry I cant remember ur real name), nice meeting you and your missus, will see again in future I'm sure.
And to others, Mikey Mike, Coup, Tinkerbelle and anyone else I forgot, nice to see you all :D
UKClubland Massive: (well not really a massive now was it, lol)
Boss, twas a brief chat, but glad my t-shirt was of some use in the long run, hehehe

PixiVix, quite literally the oddest way I have ever met someone, 3 days after initailly seeing them, hahahah. Was nice to sort of meet you, awesome dancing and I'm sure I'll see you on MSN at some point :)
Phew, so yeah, the mud was a bit of a bitch (my Nike's are still drying from the wash) and stuff was a bit overpriced, but all in all I had a totally top night, cant' wait for next year's, just hope the weather is better (and I plan to drag some of my SA friends up with me.)
TOOT!!!
