01/28/2003 Archived Entry: "Something that annoys me"

Right, this was promised so that I could get my download page back ;)

What annoys me...?

People...

But only when travelling from one place to another. People who idle along pavements, all walking in a line, say maybe 4, each standing just far enough apart to not allow anyone else to overtake them.
It makes me FURIOUS!!!!

I may be lazy, but I am also impatient, and often jog/run to places simply because I will get there quicker (and partly because it makes anyone who sees me running by do a double-take accompanied by a 'WTF?')

Not only are there these sidewalk clogging morons, but even more moronic people who stand directly in front of an opening tube door.

I ALWAYS step aside so we can 'please let passengers off the tube first'. The other day, I stood, staring at some lady in her early 20's who just stood directly in front of me, blocking my attempt to leave. As I was right in front, and fearing getting trampled by the now agitated hordes behind me, I simply pulled a 'Londoner'.

A 'Londoner' being body-checking her before mumbling "sorry" under my breath so that not even I heard me.

I now know my so many people do it. Its fun.

It's not just londoners who have to pull 'londoners' I get c**ts doing that all the time in manchester. I suppose we call it pulling a 'Manc'
where you body check some one and mutter c**t under your breath

Dude, I am /so/ sorry... I've managed to break the script that managed your download page, and I can't figure out how to fix it...

I'll keep trying
